Skill Up 2008 takes place 11-12 April 2008 at Perth Concert Hall. Skill Up is Promote YT (Scotland)’s annual networking and skills development event for youth theatre practitioners, drama workers, teachers and anyone using performing arts in a youth theatre context.
This two day event offers individuals using drama & performing arts with young people the opportunity to develop skills, share their practice and experiences, network with colleagues and establish new contacts within the sector. The event is for anyone with a vested interest in youth performing arts regardless of experience.
The cost of the weekend is £80.00. This includes two skill development workshops, facilitated skill share sessions, “speed date style” networking sessions, lively sector debate and the opportunity to contribute your view in the shaping of the sector. The cost also includes a two course evening meal on the Friday evening and refreshments during the day.
There is a competitive accommodation deal available to all Skill Up delegates, with a local hotel five minutes walk from the venue.
