Jack Drum Arts logoJack Drum Arts urgently require a costume maker for a commission to create a special costume for a youth theatre production about slavery. The costume is for a spirit character that will represent “oppression and freedom” in a play opening on 2 April in Durham. It needs to be an 18th century woman’s costume overlaid with African symbols. Young people have already created initial designs. The project is funded by Heritage Lottery Young Roots. For information and to express an interest email details/CV to julie@jackdrum.co.uk. Queries can be directed to Julie on 07969 265577.
