Dreamstuff Youth Theatre runs year round drama workshops and production programmes culminating in two large scale theatre productions each year in the Watergate Theatre. Open air productions of Shakespeare are staged each summer. The group emphasises drama training through production experiences.
Dreamstuff Youth Theatre is looking to appoint a full time Artistic Director to develop and co-ordinate all workshop and production programmes within the organisation.
The person appointed will be expected to plan, implement and evaluate a wide range of youth theatre drama workshops and theatre production programmes.

Applicants would be expected to have a proven track record of facilitating youth drama workshops and directing youth theatre productions. Experience of preparing policy and funding applications, budget management and administrative ability would be required.
Applicants must have an ability to work as part of a creative and technical team, as well as on their own initiative, and have a flexible approach to all aspects of the work. Applicant must have a full driver’s license and be willing to relocate in or near Kilkenny. Recent graduates are invited to apply.
