Want to support your local youth groups? Then come along to Stanhope Town Hall on Monday nights in July and be prepared to be amazed! Hard-hitting drama and fab young actors! Monday July 14th, 7.30pm: EXTRA performance of Jackass Youth Theatre’s acclaimed show about slavery and the fight for abolition in the North East – “Sharp Practice”. This is a benefit performance to raise
much-needed funds for the group’s imminent trip to perform the play at a national festival in London. Monday July 21st, 7.30pm: special performance of “Diversity Works” supported by Wear Valley District’s Neighbourhood Arrangements Team, Jack Drum Arts interactive drama about equality and diversity, including a workshop where you can tell us how life can be improved for the local
community. (NB: This show contains strong language and violence.) Free performance and lots of free stuff to give away!
