RWCMD Acting Summer School

This two week course is open to anyone with a passion for acting and the theatre!

Whatever age or stage of life students will get a taste of the skills required for a career in the acting profession. The course is led by Royal Shakespeare Company actor Simon Trinder, and other industry professionals including a choreographer, vocal coach and London-based casting director.

The course which is based on a foundation of vocal technique and movement skills but will also focus on:

Improvisation and Devised Work, Contemporary Text, Shakespeare and Screen Acting.

No audition is necessary, we just need plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Above all, this unique course is energised and fun, providing the opportunity for people of any ability to get up and have a go in a safe and supportive environment.

The course begins on Monday 1st September 2008 and runs until Friday 12th September 2008. Classes take place on weekdays between 9am and 5pm (start and finish times may vary from day to day). The total price for this unique experience is £587.50 (including VAT).
