The Courtyard is looking for an external consultant to conduct the evaluation of the Oxfordshire Youth Theatre Collaboration one year project ‘All Together Different’. The evaluation will also form the basis for writing a ‘How To Toolkit’ for cross youth theatre collaborative working which will be disseminated through key cultural partners, such as Creative Partnerships and Arts Council England South East
Essentially the Toolkit will be informed by the evaluation process, as it will provide useful insight into the model of collaborative working.
Throughout the project the consultant will interface with the project collect and evaluate evidence from the Master Classes and Exchange workshops and develop this into an evaluation document with recommendations for the legacy of this work regarding its impact, and viable infrastructure. Young people will be able to feed into the overall evaluation, but will also be invited to keep a blog/Arts Awards journal of their experiences during the residency. This will then be dispersed to practitioners and partners on a regional level to use as an electronic resource guide on Youth Theatre Collaboration.
The evaluation report and How To Toolkit must be completed by 1st June 2009.
Tender Process and Selection
• Consultants are asked to submit a proposal detailing how they would approach the evaluation process of the project, indicating their methodology and recommended plan of action and timetable to deliver the evaluation of the project and the development of the How To Toolkit.
• Please include any background information that illustrates your suitability for the consultancy, including examples of similar or related work undertaken.
The evaluator will be appointed on the strength of the proposals submitted.
Two copies of the proposal should be received by Thursday 11th September 2008
The inclusive fee is £3000.
There will be interviews held the week beginning 15th September.
