A re-interpretation for the stage by award-winning dramatist, Manon Eames.

Combining epic drama and fine observation, live music and movement, sixty of Wales’ most talented young performers bring our country’s oldest stories to the stage in a new and powerful, bilingual production - directed by National Youth Theatre of Wales Artistic Director, Tim Baker.

No human passion is untouched by the Mabinogi – humour and pathos collide with tragedy and despair as the powers of the Underworld contrive to challenge earthly friendships and loyalties.

Introducing princes and knights, maidens and queens, wise men and magicians – each seeking to overcome the fantastical strengths and powers of the Celtic world – Magnificent Myths of the Mabinogi is a dark adventure to thrill, excite and delight.
