Action Transport Theatre is renowned for running hands-on, idea-to-production projects for people wanting to write.

‘Four For The Port’ is a project that takes writers of all ages from first ideas to finished play; and the company is running an ‘Inspiration Day’ to kick the process off at their base in Ellesmere Port on November 7th.

So if you are passionate about writing for plays for young people… if you want to really get under the skin of a professional, new-writing theatre company… if you want to join Action Transport Theatre for an inspiring day… contact: jess@actiontransporttheatre.org or call on 0151 357 2120.

After Inspiration Day writers will pitch ideas. Four will be chosen. The four writers and their plays will be nurtured by a professional
dramaturg – and the plays will be performed as part of Cheshire Literature festival in October 2010.

Four For The Port is part of Action Transport Theatre’s commitment to raising the standards of writing for children and young people.
