The Ulster Association of Youth Drama is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the co-ordination and delivery of its ‘DramaFest’ youth theatre celebration event.
The project includes an outreach workshop programme and culminates in a 2-day celebration of youth theatre at which groups and individuals will perform their own work and take part in workshops and master class.
The role includes project co-ordination, delivery of workshops to young people aged 11+, recruitment of project participants and additional artists, liaison with venues, youth theatres and schools and community groups, budget management and evaluation.
This is a fixed term contract with flexible hours to suit delivery of 3 Outreach projects and 3 DramaFest events between December 2009 and September 2010. The work of the Youth Theatre Officer may be awarded as a single contract or divided as the Board see fit to ensure the best delivery of the project.
The Ulster Association of Youth Drama works to support, promote, develop and advocate for youth theatre and drama in Northern Ireland. This project is supported by The National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
