Peta Lily brings physical theatre techniques from a myriad of sources including Le Jeu (meaning ‘The Game’ or ‘play’), dance, Chi Gung, Laban, Butoh, mime and corporeal mime (using muscle isolation and a dynamic use of the space) to release the performer’s creative and expressive self. A chance to learn, improvise and devise with other performers.
They will also explore working with music.
The course is designed to develop greater confidence and curiosity in the power of movement. Also to develop spontaneity, characterisation, emotional availability and performing range. Nurtures performers and actors wanting to create their own works. It also helps develops the eye of the director or devisor/performer.
