Minister for the Olympics and Paymaster General Tessa Jowell MP launched the ‘Guide to Giving for Business’ on behalf of HM Treasury, The Office of the Third Sector and HM Revenue & Customs.
The guide highlighted the benefits for the private sector working closely with charities. It explains how the private sector can contribute money, shares and equipment. The guide also looks at working with charities through employee volunteering or secondments. New government guidance sets out the tax incentives for corporate giving. This guide is as useful a tool for the third sector as it is for businesses.
